LinkGather - An Overview



This plugin for WordPress will allow you to export the links for all your websites posts in Excel style.

You can download the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository by searching for LinkGather, alternatively you can just go to the link below:

When you have installed the plugin, straight away you are ready to go.

Step by Step Guide


A new menu item on the options side of your WordPress admin console will appear called LinkGather:

Hovering over this title option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different options available to you:

Clicking on the Home title, this will take you to the plugins homepage which includes instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Push the Post Links title to move you to the page that will show all of your blog sites published posts’ URL. Note that for the purposes of this guide, we are using our blog test site with just a few URL's in it.

You will now see a list with two more info columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. Depending on how many posts you have will depend on how long this list will be.

At the bottom of the link list, you should see that LinkGather has also calculated how many post URL you have.

You then also have the option to download the articles in Google Spreadsheets format.

Page Links


The instructions above is exactly the same for Page Links, but instead of showing back published posts, it will bring back published pages instead:

JetPack URL's


The option for JetPack URL's is again exactly the same procedure as those above, however, wp.me Links are actually built in export JetPack shortlinks short links created by the JetPack plugin. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to get those URL.

If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.

Hoping that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links tab will bring back all those JetPack ShortLinks that it has gathered:
